ARTISTIC PHILOSOPHY
"Given the platform I have as a storyteller, my hope is to instill strength, empowerment, and authenticity into my audiences. My heart is with the women and girls (or anyone for that matter) who needs to be reminded of the beautiful creation that they are and the abundant life that was intended for them by their Creator. When I perform, I don’t want people to see me. I want them to see my heart, yes, but most of all I want them to see my God and the things He has done through me and my talents. Behind the scenes, I want everyone who I work with to know that they have a safe space in my presence. I want to be a diligent servant of the Lord through my both my work on stage and my interactions with others off stage. My pursuit of musical theatre is not about me. I chose this path because it infatuates me more than anything in the world, but I stayed on this path because as an audience member I know how transformative these stories and characters can be, and as a performer I get to witness others experience that same magic show after show.”
